I will have a college supplies collection drive to help send underprivileged girls go to college. I will but decorated boxes put them in the library for people to leave their donations. I will do most of the work myself. My mother volunteers with project aloe and will help me with the details as to what exactly they need. If I need additional help I will just ask my friends to help me. When my drive is complete I hope to have collected enough supplies to share with at least 40 girls.

What are some causes and solutions to the achievement gap in schools?
Prior Experience:
I see firsthand how people in the suburbs in general have a much easier time preparing for college and being eligible than inner city students, based on the opportunities they are presented with and the amount of support they have.
Research Benefits:
It spreads awareness of why it is important to close the achievement gap.
